About the magazine

Independent, practical, and not an airline.

FLAPEX is an editorial concept about flight literacy: helping people understand the systems around a European journey without pretending to operate them.

What we do

We publish original explainers about airports, airlines, connections, baggage, check-in, transfer planning and passenger situations. The writing is intended for real travellers: people who want a useful answer before the airport, not a sales pitch inside it.

We do not issue tickets, handle bookings, provide airline customer service, operate an airport, or make immigration decisions. “FLAP” is a thematic editorial framework for Flight, Travel & Air Passenger information.

Editorial disclosure

Airline names, airport names and official resources are referenced for orientation. FLAPEX is not affiliated with them, does not use their logos as branding and does not speak on their behalf. Policies, schedules, terminal arrangements and entry requirements can change; readers should verify current information directly with the relevant provider or authority.

How to read the site

Use the guide pages to build context, then confirm the time-sensitive detail with an official source before travel. If a page mentions passenger rights, treat it as general information rather than legal advice.
